Overview:
We are currently working with a leading Construction / Infrastructure organisation who are seeking a dynamic and experienced PMO Administrator.
The PMO Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting project leadership, driving project methodology, and governance and ensuring the successful delivery of various large multi-year infrastructure projects.
This is part of a broader PMO team supporting large-scale infrastructure projects and will require to work in Regional NSW a few days a week. Travel/Accommodation or Relocation packages are available.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the PMO Manager and project teams in the implementation and maintenance of project management processes and documentation.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining project management frameworks, templates, and processes within the PMO office.
- Support the PMO Manager in updating and maintaining project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, and other project-related events, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and logistics.
- Maintain project management tools and systems, including project management software and document repositories.
- Support the PMO Manager in conducting project audits, reviews, and assessments as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in a project management office (PMO) or similar administrative role is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Candidates must have full working rights in Australia
Candidates can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane and must be willing to travel/Relocation to Regional NSW required and covered by our client
