Job Title: PMO Analyst
Length of Contract: Initial 6 month contract with the view to extend
Location: Perth, CBD (State of the art Office and new facilities)
Roster / Flexibility: Condensed working week, 9 hr days, 9 day fortnight, Mon – Fri
Start Date: ASAP
Required Experience:
Financial Management / Resource Allocation Management / Experience using PowerBI / Continuous Improvement experience / Industry knowledge in any of the following: Resources, Mining, Finance, Energy, Capital Projects, Finance teams, Capital Projects IT Leadership teams.
Responsibilities:
- Collation and validation of financial and resourcing data for monthly reporting
- Analyse, identify and review variations/anomalies for monitoring Capital Projects IT financial, resourcing, deliverables, risks & issues and escalation as required
- Review existing processes/tools, identify potential streamlining opportunities and deliver process improvements
- Review monthly reporting and validate data for consistency and completeness
- Support IM&T Leadership Team request for information as required (including MCP estimation and periodic cost/resource reviews)
- Collation, validation and alignment of data from various sources for monthly reporting
- Identify and review variations and anomalies for monitoring and escalation as required
- Provide analysis and insight on monthly variations
- Review trends or issues across short-term timelines and immediate impacts to project position
- Review spend against multiple portfolios and highlight impacts to financial position
- Capacity management reporting to highlight any over/under utilisation
- Risks & Issues Reporting (Collate and update Risks & Issues data)
- Engage Leads & Data team to collate monthly commentary and schedule updates
- Review and validate data for consistency and completeness
- Periodic review of processes/tools and identify potential improvements
- Apply/Test options identified (MVPs) and progress development of changes that improve efficiency and have added value
- Collation of MCP estimation submission, cost reviews and cost challenges
- Periodic analysis of resourcing and financials
- Support IM&T Leadership Team request for information as required
