The opportunity
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Policy Administration and Special Projects Officer to join our Corporate Services team based in Perth.
As the Policy Administration and Special Projects Officer, you will be responsible for the administration of Screenwest’s policies, procedures, and templates framework, ensuring regulatory compliance and ongoing useful resources for staff. You will also provide administrative support for business-wide projects, as well as general operational support within Screenwest.
This is a one year, fixed-term (full-time) contract, with a possibility for extension (up to 1 year).
The role will be responsible for:
- Maintaining our Policy, Procedure and Templates SharePoint Library, ensuring integration within the organisation’s governance system.
- Assisting with the creation and updating of policies, procedures and templates to ensure regulatory/contractual/company compliance, manage risk, and serve as helpful resources to staff.
- Assisting with the delivery of staff training on Screenwest policies and processes.
- Assisting with the scoping and delivery of continuous improvement projects (including external reviews) across Screenwest to streamline processes and ensure compliance.
- Maintaining relevant registers including Board & Board Committee resolutions and findings and recommendations from internal and external reviews.
- Assisting with the administration of Screenwest SharePoint sites.
- Assisting with Screenwest reception and guest management.
- Assisting with other operational support more broadly within Screenwest such as staff travel coordination, facilities management, coordinating internal & external events, and invoicing.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated understanding of, and experience in, working with corporate policy and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence and ability to build and maintain rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven eye for detail working in a structured, process-driven environment.
- A team player who contributes to fostering a positive work environment.
- Proficient in using Information Technology and Communication and Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.
- A great collaborator who is eager to support various stakeholders across different projects.
Other requirements:
- A current (within three months) National Police Clearance Certificate.
