Position Overview
TG Public Affairs is seeking an energetic, knowledgeable individual with a strong understanding of Australian politics to join its Research Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in all aspects of the Research Team and delivering on all client requests.
The position offers a unique opportunity for researchers to apply and advance their substantive expertise, policy acumen, analytical skills and project management abilities as part of a dynamic team. Key responsibilities of the role:
- Supporting the production of client reports, briefs, letters and research
- Collaborate with all internal stakeholders
- Conduct thorough research and analysis on relevant policy issues
- Participate in meetings and workshops with internal and external clients
- Support in preparing material for Business Development activities; and
- Overseeing the upkeep of internal company online platforms (i.e. SharePoint).
Knowledge and Skills:
- Sound research, organisational, writing and communication skills
- Managing sensitive and confidential material; and
- Ability to use relevant office technology, including Microsoft Office Suite.
The successful candidate must have (at a minimum) two years’ work experience working in a related field. A degree in politics, business and/or similar is also essential, however a Masters (or equivalent) is preferred.
