Provide high-quality administrative support to all members within the System Governance Support Branch | Temporary Policy Support Officer Opportunity based in Brisbane CBD
The role
Reporting to the Manager, System Governance Support Branch, Office of the Director-General, you will be responsible for providing effective and efficient administrative support services, including assisting with brief coordination and other administration tasks to support the annual Estimates Hearing process. Duties will include tracking and monitoring key tasks and deadlines, following up outstanding briefs and action items, and organising mock hearings and practice sessions. You will also contribute to preparing a high-quality briefing pack for the Minister and Director-General, assisting with formatting and printing.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for assisting in the organisation of meetings and preparation of meeting papers required for the Queensland Health Tier 1 Executive Committees.
The successful person
You will have demonstrated:
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to rapidly acquire new knowledge related to a broad range of health policy, performance, strategy and funding issues.
- Demonstrated project management skills and personal organisation skills including the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and set priorities to achieve results within tight deadlines in a fast paced and high-pressure environment.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team with effective interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to liaise effectively and provide information and feedback, to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
