The purpose of this role will be to welcome guests and make them feel they belong in our hotel. You will do this by:
To greet all guests as they arrive and depart the Hotel.
To use the Guest name at all times (once known).
Carry guest luggage as required.
Escort guests to rooms.
Explain room and hotel facilities to guests and answer any questions.
Deliver messages to guest rooms.
Regular checks of the foyer, cleaning ashtrays and tables.
Ensure the Foyer area, including entry/exit doors, remains clean and presentable at all times.
To have a thorough knowledge of all facilities and operating hours in the hotel.
Have a thorough knowledge of the hotels outlets, current events and local area.
Qualifications
You need to be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English and Mandarin.
You have highly proficient computer skills. Proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Word is required.
You are compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful.
You have the ability to work as a part of a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
You possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
You can maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the guests and your co-workers.
