SalaryOur client is a reputable Australian based Investment Manager, with a varied portfolio of predominantly International and Australian equities.
There are x 3 contract roles available within the Investment Operations Team due to a project that is underway. The positions are highly diverse where you will gain a deep understanding of the entire middle office investment function. You will be part of a collaborative and dynamic team, learning from professionals who are top of their field and have been in the industry for 15 + years.
Role Responsibilities (examples of but not limited to)
- Cash Management: money market and FX execution
- Reconciliations
- Settlements (equities, derivatives and FX)
- Relationships management between counterparties and clients
- Portfolio reporting for fund managers
Ideal Skills and Experience
- Exposure to, understanding of and interest in financial markets, equities, derivatives and FX investments
- Minimum 12 Months experience from a back or middle office position (funds, treasury, custodian, brokerage, stockbroking)
- Confident using excel for daily tasks
- Strong communication skills and a can-do attitude
- Genuine interest in the investment industry and financial markets
