Full Job Description:Our client, a thriving Wealth Manager, is currently seeking an Investment Operations Analyst to join their collaborative and dynamic operations team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the Investment Operations team by effectively implementing core business processes and serving as a key link between the Investment Strategy Group (ISG) and the Operations team.
You will liaise with a range of stakeholders, both Internal Stakeholders such as Investment Operations, Risk & Compliance, ISG Team, Advisers, Associates & Offshore teams. As well as external stakeholders such as Third-Party Service Providers, including Fund Managers, Fund Administrators, Platform providers, Brokers, FX and other banking services providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the investment subscriptions and commitments process.
- Aid in ongoing key strategic projects.
- Ensure accurate reflection of capital events on client portfolios held on platforms in a timely manner.
- Perform quarterly reconciliations on investment records and maintain performance models, transaction events, and accurate reporting.
- Perform and review unit pricing calculations.
- Liaise with fund administrators, custodians, and other external service providers; AND
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement.
Skills & Experience:
You will have 1-3 years' experience in Investment Administration and/or Investment Operations, as well as;
- Bachelor's degree in finance, commerce, or a similar field of study
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Knowledge of technology and wealth platform providers such as Netwealth, Praemium and Salesforce (desirable, not essential).
- Ability to take accountability; AND
- Strong attention to detail
