Hays are excited to be partnering with Australia’s leading Property Advisory firm on a newly created Portfolio Manager (National) role. Our client is a reputable and well respected multi-national brand who provide expert advice on portfolio management & strategy, transaction due diligence, leasing and capex. This role will be managing a national portfolio for a key client who have a global presence in the market.
Your new role
As the Portfolio Manager for this major client you will work closely with Property Directors, Property Managers and Lease Administrators to maintain the operational performance of the portfolio, whilst growing the clients national footprint. Your role will include, but is not limited to the following:
- Main point of contact for Landlords and Clients.
- Day to day management of the portfolio.
- Facilitate and prepare annual and Quarterly Property Strategy.
- Review & advise of outgoings responsibilities.
- Undertake and complete market rental negotiations.
- Negotiation of major Capex works.
- Negotiation of lease renewals and surrender of leases.
- Source & identify new sites for acquisition.
- Acquisition/divestment due diligence and transaction management/negotiation.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in Commercial Real Estate.
- Self-motivated, resourceful team player with ability to resolve issues independently.
- Result-oriented and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and able to navigate with different stakeholders.
- Strong financial acumen with understanding of valuations.
- Current or prior experience within Property Management, Leasing or Valuations.
- Strong network within the property industry so you are able to hit the ground running.
