The Role
Sitting on the Leadership Team and supporting the Global Alliance Director within a fun greenfield team, you will play a lead role in maintaining the client's global property strategy across 2 million square feet of corporate office portfolio, encompassing leasing, renewals, occupancy planning, and assisting with transactions for non-managed sites.
This is a unique opportunity to put your stamp on a greenfield team, build out the workstream, shift the needle in service delivery, and mould the role according to your preferred way of working.
Location: Perth or Brisbane preferred.
Immediate start is available.
A typical day may involve:
- Maintaining an accurate and effective portfolio strategy across all office locations globally, ensuring a consistently high level of service delivery and forward-thinking approach around renewals.
- Driving effective negotiations around lease expiry and renewal terms, making intelligent recommendations to improve portfolio performance.
- Quality and data assurance of the lease admin and occupancy functions, making reliable predictions to inform decision making.
- Engaging overseas "best in market" brokers to execute transactions for non-managed sites.
- Budgeting, forecasting, and planning tasks with the support of the Finance team.
- A high focus on relationship management - creating and building relationships with Landlords, Tenants, Local Authorities, internal and external Legal Counsels, supply chains, and key client stakeholders.
- Close collaboration with Facilities Management teams, Regional Workplace Managers, Occupancy Lead, Finance, HSE and Project Management teams.
Requirements
- ESSENTIAL: Property Management experience with Commercial portfolios across a global remit.
- ESSENTIAL: Strong experience with leasing, budgets and renewal negotiations.
- ESSENTIAL: Ability to be hands-on, autonomous, and problem-solve with complex solutions to become the SME for all property matters.
- PREFERRED: Experience managing brokers within APAC region.
- Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.
- The ability to influence to achieve desired outcomes through successful negotiations.
- Ability to travel to Perth 3-4 times per year (if based elsewhere).
