Our client is currently looking for an experienced Portfolio Master Scheduler to work in Port Macquarie. The role will be in the Enterprise Delivery Office (EDO) which is central to driving the effective delivery of our client’s strategic plan and transformation program through a varied and complex portfolio of projects. They are seeking a Portfolio Master Scheduler who will provide key information and advice on programs of work.
The Role:
You will be accountable for establishing and implementing effective enterprise wide approach to scheduling and dependency management, ensuring that those scheduling standards are applied consistently across all projects in the Enterprise Portfolio. This involves managing the assurance review process, ensuring oversight of schedules and developing metrics on the health of the schedules within the portfolio. The role provides scheduling expertise to programs and identifies dependencies between programs and ensures the co-ordination of the resolution of any conflicts between programs.

Qualification and experience required for the role:
- Degree in Project Management, Business or Management
- Experience in the development and establishment of scheduling and dependency management processes and standards in a large corporate organisation
- Proven experience in the provision of guidance and advice on Portfolio, Program and Project services, and advise on the appropriate use of methods, tools, techniques, templates and standards
- Project planning, financial management, risk and issue management, stakeholder management, and delivery
- Demonstrated experience in the understanding and use Project, Program and Portfolio methodologies (eg Prince 2, and PMBoK)
- Knowledge of the principles of project and program planning including project planning, financial management, risk and issue management, stakeholder management, and delivery.
- Proven experience in building schedules, base lining, allocating roles/resources, construction of WBS’s, tracking critical path, exporting/importing schedules between scheduling tools and generating reports scheduling tool set.
