AddressSet in lovely surroundings of the Adelaide Hills, our signature home at Uraidla has opened and we are seeking a Positive Ageing (Lifestyle) Co-ordinator to lead our vision of Positive Ageing in the home.
About the role
You will manage the Positive Ageing focus for the home, you will create, deliver and facilitate exciting, engaging and person-centered activities and events with the residents.
This role supports our active community and Positive Ageing vision to support residents to attend the on-site gym and walking groups and other activities. This role is supported by a Positive Ageing Assistant and expertise from our Exercise Physiologists as part our Positive Ageing team.
To be successful in this role you will need ;
- Certificate III in Aged Care; or Personal Trainer or equivalent relevant qualification.
- Available for shifts Monday – Sunday morning and afternoon
- Ability to adapt to the changing needs of residents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including demonstrated experience interacting with a wide range of people.
- A thorough understanding of person-centered approaches
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
- A National Police Clearance
