Position:Positive Behaviour Support Clinician
Location: Forensic Mental Health Sector, NDIS
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Positive Behaviour Support plans tailored to the unique needs of individuals within the Forensic Mental Health sector.
- Conduct functional behaviour assessments and analyses to identify triggers and develop appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and support staff, to ensure holistic care and support.
- Provide training and guidance to support staff and caregivers on implementing PBS strategies effectively.
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and clinical supervision sessions to review progress and adjust strategies as needed.
- Stay updated on best practices, research findings, and emerging trends in Positive Behaviour Support and Forensic Mental Health.
Requirements:
- Minimum registration level of Proficient
- Proven experience in Positive Behaviour Support within the context of Forensic Mental Health or related fields.
- Strong understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and its principles.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Capacity to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting the rights and dignity of individuals with disabilities.
