We have a permanent opportunity for a skilled Power Worker (Trade Assistant) / Plant Operator to join our team located in Millmerran.

Remuneration:
- From $85,163 up to $91,847 per annum + 12.75% Superannuation.
Location Incentives:
- Non-Urban Zone Allowance - up to $3,000 per annum.
- Housing Assistance - up to $7,020 per annum.
- Non-Urban Time Recognition Payments - $5,000 after 2 years of service and if you decide to stay on for 5, 10, 15 or even 20 years, we'll pay you $5,000 at each milestone.

As a Power Worker/ Plant Operator, you will:
- Be a key contributor to the team, assisting our tradespersons with the construction, maintenance and associated activities on our overhead and underground electrical networks.
- Have experience in safety observing and the ability to actively identify and implement risk control measures where needed.
- Be fully qualified with a current C2 Crane Operator licence and have demonstrated experience.
- 20t Slew Crane Licence.
- WP High Risk Work Licence – operate Elevated Work Platform.
- Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence.
- Forklift Truck Licence.
Critical to your success in the role, is your:
- Demonstrated knowledge of an electricity distribution/transmission system, including construction and maintenance of the electrical network.
- Working knowledge of Electricity Act & Regulations, Workplace Health & Safety Act and Regulations, and other relevant statutory acts & regulations.
- Willingness to travel across broader Queensland to assist with emergency work as required.
- Current ‘C’ class open Drives Licence.
