We are excited to be working with a major Queensland Government frontline department seeking a Power Apps Developer.
Scope of Position
We are seeking a suitably experienced Power Apps Developer and Administrator, to join the team to contribute to the successful delivery of the various projects allocated to the Agencies Directorate.
YOU WILL be a member of the IST Directorate – Technology Transition Team and will receive advice and guidance from the Directorate’s Technology Transition Implementation Lead, Data Centre SME, Solution Architects and Project Managers, as required.
YOU WILL be assigned to work on a range of different projects over the duration of the engagement, and may be required to work concurrently on multiple projects.
YOU WILL use Agile methodology and be working with business representative/s, analysts and testers to deliver required changes.
All projects have a Project Manager who follows an approved project methodology and reports to a governance board.
Key Accountabilities & Skills
Work collaboratively with a team of information technology professionals and participate in the analysis, design, build and delivery of information technology systems and services for the provision of effective Information and Communication Technology (ICT) solutions.
Delivering services and solutions on behalf of QPS as part of the Directorate using the suite of Microsoft’s PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate Flow, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, custom development, and data integrations on the platform.
Analyse and provide solutions to complex technical problems to ensure ICT performance outcomes meets service level requirements.
ESSENTIAL
Extensive experience developing services and solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.
Microsoft 365 Tenancy Administration Services (including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, OneNote, Sharepoint)
Active Directory (2012, 2016), ADFS, Azure AD
Scripting (including PowerShell for administration of Azure AD, MS Online Services)
DESIRABLE
A strong understanding of corporate enterprise environments and expectations to support the delivery of rubust and secure solutions.
Strong understanding of the IT&T industry, as well as technology trends and related practices
Basic network experience – administration – basic switches, router, and firewalls
