About the role
Mkt. is looking to welcome a purpose-driven Senior Account Executive/Account Manager to join us in the new realm of impact communications and work their magic alongside our passionate team of communication strategists, designers and doers.
Through creative storytelling, content creation, and campaign management, you will play a pivotal role within our dynamic team, helping manage a portfolio of clients spanning consumer and corporate industries.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a PR and Communications agency - ideally with 2-3+ years of experience (SAE) / 3-4+ years of experience (AM), including working with a diverse portfolio of corporate and consumer clients.
- An entrepreneurial spirit – demonstrate passion for our clients and their businesses by staying updated on trends, events, and the latest developments to add value and delight your clients.
- A sharp, strategic and creative mind – you love coming up with new and innovative ways to narrate a brand’s story. Be adept at assimilating and sharing new information and drawing insightful conclusions relevant to your client mix.
- Outstanding writing skills – you enjoy crafting and developing story ideas, press releases, social media captions, pitch notes, website copy, and attention-grabbing eDM headlines
- Pitch perfect skills - don’t worry, singing isn’t necessary but you should be a natural storyteller, capable of creating compelling narratives for media, clients, brand partners, or influencers. Whether sharing a story over the phone or in person, you relish the opportunity to showcase your creativity and intelligence.
- Super-human attention to detail – possess the ability to spot a typo from a mile away (yes, we left one in this job ad - can you find it?), maintain diligence in formatting, double-check everything, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Being tech-savvy is a must in 2024 - requiring a keen understanding of utilising social media platforms (such as TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram), design tools like Canva, and a willingness to explore AI. These tools are essential for crafting brand stories and engaging with influencers and the press.
