Are you ready to lead and inspire in a dynamic healthcare environment? We are on the hunt for a Practice Manager to lead our wonderful team of superstars in our IMS Specialist Suites.
IMS provides a central clinical hub, supporting specialists and allied health professionals to develop and grow a private practice profile. We provide services including physical rooms, practice management and administration services, billings, appointment and surgical bookings, policies and procedures.
About the positionThe Practice Manager is pivotal in overseeing the practice's daily operations. By designing, implementing, and refining systems, their primary focus is to ensure the seamless and efficient delivery of services while maintaining high standards of care. This includes providing administrative support at a strategic level to ensure patient care aligns with community needs and complies with the practice's care model and business objectives.
The role revolves around sustaining effective processes and procedures, encompassing quality enhancements, workforce planning, service delivery optimisation, financial record-keeping, and quality system implementation. The overarching goal is to uphold the practice's smooth functionality and exceptional patient care standards.
In close collaboration with the Executive Management and all practice personnel, the Practice Manager cultivates and sustains productive relationships with staff and key stakeholders.
The Practice Manager's primary accountability lies in delivering expert management services to the practice, particularly in compliance and staff management. Reporting directly to the Managing Director this role is responsible for the day to day operations and management of our Specialist Suites.
Requirements:
- Qualifications or substantial experience in a similar practice management role or within a healthcare setting.
- The capacity to efficiently and effectively manage the processes of a busy multidisciplinary health service.
- Good understanding of financial reporting in medical specialist suites.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Excellent computer skills including speadsheets, electronic recording systems and data management, with the capacity to learn new clinical software packages.
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively and lead a team encouraging teamwork.
- Strength in building customer and stakeholder relationships.
- Whilst not essential, experience in the use of Clinic 2 Cloud software, the Medicare Benefits Schedule and an understanding of customer and stakeholder relationships would be desirable.
