We are a busy Reconstructive and Plastic Surgery Practice caring for both public and private medical patients. Located close to public transport, we offer an excellent renumeration package as well as onsite parking. Working in a multi surgeon practice, you will responsible for the care and management of all aspects of the practice for one surgeon. This is a busy and fulfilling hands on role that includes; administration, front desk, billing, claiming, diary management, telephones, typing and executive support. The role also has scope for some post op nursing assistance if qualifications are current. You will receive excellent on the job training and ongoing support. Qualifications & experience
- Previous experience in a Specialist Practice desirable
- Gentu experience desirable
- Current nursing qualifications highly regarded
- Xero experience highly regarded
Tasks & responsibilities
- Appointment and surgery bookings
- Patient Quotes and Billing
- Medicare, DVA and Health Fund Claims
- Front Desk Duties
- Liaise with external departments including pathology, specialists, theatre, wait list managers, health funds, Medicare and DVA where appropriate.
- Ensure appropriate documentation for credentialing, registration, insurance & service agreements of private practitioners.
- Management of correspondence including typing
- Patient Liaison
