Hunter Pain Specialists is seeking a full time Registered Nurse with a background in practice nursing to be trained in pain management.
You will be working with 3 Pain Management Specialists in the nursing team of a multidisciplinary clinic.
Requirements:
Support the complex needs of our patients.
- Attending satellite clinics in Greenhills and Tuggerah as rostered.
- Provide patient education and case management for advanced pain therapies.
- Perform post-procedural contact providing advice within clinical scope.
- Ability to write concise reports regarding patient treatments/outcomes.
- Computer literacy is a must and previous experience with the use of clinical programs such as, Gentu, Genie, Best Practice or Pracsoft is required.
This position is Monday to Friday, rostered between 8am and 6pm including monthly rostered day off.
There is a requirement for you to share the duties of the “on call” phone on procedure days till 8pm on a rostered basis.
