Our Ramsay Psychology/Ramsay Health Plus Coolangatta has a permanent part-time opportunity for a Practice Manager to join our team, 64 hours per fortnight.
The Opportunity
Within Ramsay Psychology/Ramsay Health Plus, our Practice Managers are pivotal to the success of our clinics and the positive experience for our clients.
This role will suit someone who is looking for a diverse role and an opportunity to showcase their outstanding customer service and communication skills. Your high organisational capabilities coupled with understanding of medical or allied health practice processes will determine your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring clients have a positive experience with our practice from their very first phone call
- Helping to drive referrals to the clinic by building relationships with GPs and other healthcare professionals
- Assisting with GP clinic drop ins, lunches, marketing correspondence and event planning
- Diary management, triaging and scheduling of patient appointments
- Accurate maintenance of patient records
- Reception duties
- End of month financial reporting, invoicing and accounts management
- Handling patient enquiries, including website enquiries
- Processing patient accounts - billing, collections and reconciliations
- Other general administrative functions as required
- Knowledge of Medicare and HICAPS systems
- Experience and knowledge of multiple patient management systems and software, Nookal would be advantageous
- Previous experience managing a busy Medical Practice
- Exceptional people skills and self confidence
- Highly organised and able to prioritise
- Comprehensive knowledge of online claiming and MBS as it pertains to provision of psychological and allied health services (desirable)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-motivated with a desire for continued professional development/excellence
