AddressBalance! Springwood Family Practice is a progressive multidisciplinary primary health care setting, fully accredited and equipped with modern facilities including dedicated acute treatment areas and a nurses station.
The independent doctors at this well-established location offer a broad range of clinical services including chronic health management, men’s health, women's and children's services, indigenous health and the full range of General Practice services.
We are currently seeking an experienced AIN to join the team on a casual basis. Weekday and weekend shifts available.
This is not an aged care nursing role. Instead you will work as an assistant to our GPs and assist with minor procedures and other primary care and GP services to our patients.
To be considered you must have the following;
- Cert IIIAssistant in Nursing or similar
- Experience working as an AIN/Student Nurse
- previous GP experience will be highly regarded.
- The ability to work independently and take initiative
- A “can do” attitude and be a proactive/forward thinker
- A strong multitasking and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literate
- Current First Aid certificate and CPR
- Ability to work effectively in a busy environment, as part of the team as well as autonomously
- Exceptional patient and customer service skills
- Commitment to best practice
- Commitment to ethical behaviour and conduct
