We are looking for a nurse who has the following skills:
- Triaging skills and the ability to independently manage minor illnesses
- Nurse immuniser qualifications
- Chronic disease management skills and experience in completing chronic disease plans
Experience in refugee health is not necessary, we will provide you with training on areas specific to refugee health, but experience with working with disadvantaged populations, complex chronic disease and a good understanding of the social determinants of health are essentially for this role.
Utopia has just been awarded charity status. We are in the process of implementing salary sacrificing for our staff. Whilst this is not yet in place, it is likely to be in place before the end of 2024.
