AddressRye Family Clinic is a family owned and operated General Practice on the Mornington Peninsula in Rye. We have 6 GP’s in our team who are currently supported by three Practice Nurses and 5 administrative staff members. We have onsite pathology, visiting specialists and a psychologist. Our services include men’s and women’s health, chronic disease management, minor procedures, children’s health, vaccinations, iron transfusions, IUD’s and medicinal cannabis.
The Position
We are looking for an RN Practice Nurse to join our team to work with our current nurses and alongside our GP’s. Our practice is open 8.00am-6.00pm Monday to Friday and 9.00am-12.00pm Saturday. Weekend work would not be expected at this stage.
Day to Day Tasks
- Performing health assessments & care plans
- Administering vaccines
- Assisting GP’s with minor procedures & contraceptive procedures and iron transfusions
- Wound dressings and removal of sutures
- Sterilisation of instruments in accordance with our policies and procedures
- Ordering of stock
You will have
- AHPRA Registered Nurse
- Immuniser
- Experience in a General Practice setting or the desire to work in this setting.
- Exceptional time management skills
- A patient focused approach
- The ability to cover planned leave of other nursing staff.

- Initial casual employment 2-3 days per week, the opportunity to move to Part Time employment after initial trial period. Further days also available if demand is created.
