This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse to join a professional team and to provide support to patients and doctors.
We are after a nurse who is a quick learner, can work in a fast-paced environment with a 'can-do' attitude and is looking for a long term position.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Wound review and dressings
- Triaging patients
- Assisting with procedures using aseptic technique
- ECGs
- Sterilisation and infection control
- Chronic Disease Management including Care Plans and Health Assessments
- Immunisations
- Patient recalls and reminders
- Spirometry
- Ear syringing
- Pap smears
- Medical assessments
- Accreditation
Essential criteria:
- Current AHPRA registration without restrictions
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional attitude
- Flexibility
- Previous experience in General Practice is highly regarded
- Previous experience with Best Practice software is desirable
