We are needing to employ another Nurse to our team.
Exciting opportunity to join an established team of friendly and hardworking individuals who are focused on providing experience and consistency to the health care of our patients all within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse.
Essential Criteria:
• Previous experience of at least 12 months in General Practice
• High Level of organisation
• Excellent Communication skills with the ability work in a team environment.
• Ability to multi-task
• Bachelor of nursing
• Unrestricted registration with AHPRA (Division 1 Registered Nurse)
• Compliance with CPD requirements.
• Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
• Demonstrate initiative, time management and flexibility
Key Responsibilities
• General Treatment room procedures
o ECG
o Spirometry
o Audiometry
o BGL Readings
o INR readings
o Ear Syringe
• Wound Management
• Chronic Disease Care
• Health Assessments
• Immunisations – Adult and Childhood
• Assisting with procedures
• Assisting with aviation medicals
• Triage over the phone and face to face
• Maintain infection control standards
• Maintain cold chain management
• Management of recall/reminders
• Ensuring clinical standards are met for Accreditation purposes – 5th edition
Remuneration:
Award: In accordance with the experience and qualifications.
