AddressWe have an exciting opportunity to join an established team of friendly and hardworking individuals. We are a busy 7 Doctor private-billing practice located in Albany Creek. The nursing team is focused on providing exceptional care for our patients, and outstanding support for our doctors. We are growing our practice and require another wonderful nurse to join the team.
We are looking for an experienced RN who is reliable, hard-working, and committed to growth. You will be supported by our other experienced nurses in the treatment room, our wonderful GPs, and hard-working reception team.
The position will offer 4 days per week as permanent part-time. Although training will be provided, it is essential to have some background knowledge of GP nursing. Please do not apply if your availability or experience does not match the below requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience of at least 12 months in general practice is essential
- Knowledge of Best Practice software is highly advantageous
- Current AHPRA registration
- High level of organisation and ability to multi-task
- Demonstrate initiative, time management and flexibility
- Professional appearance and exceptional communication skills
Key duties & responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting with patient triage, emergencies, obs
- Chronic disease management & monitoring (including Care Plans and Health Assessments)
- Wound care
- Assisting with minor procedures
- Immunisations
- ECG, Spirometry, ABI, INR testing
- Patient recalls & reminders (HotDoc)
- Coordination of the Treatment Room
- Implementing Infection Control protocol & Cold Chain management
- Sterilising instruments
Remuneration:
- Award: Nurses Award (MA000034)
- Superannuation: In accordance with the relevant legislation
