Due to continued growth an exciting opportunity has become available at Reynella Family Care for a passionate, motivated Practice Nurse to join our dynamic, supportive, growing team of GPs, Allied Health and Specialists on a part time basis.
Reynella Family Care is located in beautiful Old Reynella in the Southern suburbs of Adelaide and has been providing quality healthcare to the local community for many years. Due to the expansion of our team and services provided we are seeking a Practice Nurse to assist in delivering ongoing, exceptional care to our loyal patients.
Reynella Family Care is an accredited mixed billing general practice and prides itself on working together with patients to optimize the very best health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities of the role will include, but not limited to:
- Triage of acute patients
- Working closely with doctors to work up and care for acute patient needs
- Wound management - removal of sutures
- Adult and childhood Immunizations, Covid-19 vaccinations
- Chronic Disease Management plans and Health Assessments
- ECG, spirometry, 24 hr. blood pressure monitor
- Assist GPs with Intravenous Iron Infusions and minor procedures
- Co-ordination, management and maintenance of patient clinical data
- Quality improvement and accreditation activities
- Confidence to work independently within in a team environment
- Women’s Health and related procedures
Essential Criteria include
- Current Nursing AHPRA registration
- Current CPR certificate
- Current Working with Children and National Police Check
- At least 2 years Practice Nurse experience
- Strong computer literacy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill
Remuneration dependent on experience
