Practice Nurse,General Practice - Candlewood Medical Centre

Candlewood Medical Centre is an exceptionally busy Medical Practice, which has recently been renovated and expanded to include 10 consultation rooms and 2 Nurse Treatment Rooms.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Registered Nurse/Enrolled Nurse to join our friendly Team in our privately owned Family Practice in Joondalup.

We are a well established Medical Centre,  who is committed to providing high quality healthcare for our patients for over 30 Years.

THE ROLE

The Practice Nurse will be required to carry out normal RN/EN duties including, but not limited to:

• Cold Chain Management
• Arrangements of Care Plans, Health Assessments and Chronic Disease Management.
• Immunisations.
• Wound Care and Assisting GP's with minor procedures.
• Spirometry, ECG,ABI
• Ear Syringe
• ordering of Medical Supplies.
• Triage
• The co-ordination of patient recalls and reminders.
• Sterilisation of Medical Equipment.
• Iron Infusions
• Work Medicals 

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

The successful applicant, must have the following skills and experience:

• A minimum of 2 Years previous experience working in General Practice - desirable
• Excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a Team.
• A working knowledge of Best Practice Software - desirable 
• Must hold a current AHPRA Registration.
• Chronic Disease Management
• Current immunisation Certificate.
• Current CPR Certificate.

This position is a Permanent Part-Time role and hours are negotiable.

 Salary will be negotiable depending on experience.
