You’ll contribute to:
- Offering expert technical support to internal and external stakeholders on debt recovery processes.
- Working closely with the Credit Advisor function in facilitating end-to-end debt recovery.
- Proactively identifying improvement areas in debt recovery processes, collaborating on system enhancements, and assisting in engagements with regulatory bodies.
- Managing daily Debt Recovery tasks, including attendance to inboxes, queues, and work items, while ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with regulatory policies and procedures.
A bit about you:
- You possess practical experience in insurance administration or high-volume processing within a customer-focused commercial insurance environment or call centre, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation.
- Your background includes a minimum of one year of experience in collection procedures, preferably within the finance or insurance industry, demonstrating proficiency in negotiating and resolving conflicts.
- You exhibit exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact empathetically with customers, anticipate their needs, and provide professional assistance in resolving debt matters.
- Your communication skills, both written and verbal, are well-developed, enabling you to effectively liaise with internal stakeholders, maintain control in challenging situations, and contribute positively to team collaboration and process improvement initiatives.
