Total Paid Hours (per week) & days required: 18 hours per week - required to work on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week

Salary level, range or hourly rate: School Officer Level 2 ($30.59 per hour) (School Salary Scale)/(Services Salary Scale)

Employment conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement

About the role - We are seeking a Prep School Officer to join our small, connected school community to undertake a range of tasks in supporting the needs of our youngest students, under the direction of the teachers.

Duties include:

• Actively supporting students in learning
• Assisting in small groups for Mathematics, English and other areas
• Playground supervision/Office duty
• and General classroom and administrative support.

About you - Ideally you will have:

• Previous experience as a School Officer and/or hold a minimum a Cert 3 in Educational Support;
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills;
• An understanding of the work of a Primary school classroom; and
• A willingness to work as part of a team.

You will also demonstrate an ability and initiative to apply your skills in supporting students to achieve successful learning outcomes.

• hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
