About Us
The Shepherd Centre (TSC) is a highly regarded not-for-profit organisation, providing specialised early intervention programs for children with hearing loss and their families. We also operate 2 Preschools in NSW.
About the role
We currently have a great opportunity available for a motivated individual to join our Preschool in Casula. Our Preschool offers a caring, supportive environment, with a lovely working atmosphere for all of our staff. We operate with a small group of 15 children aged between 3 and 5 years, with a mixture of children with and without hearing loss from the local community.
This is a rare opportunity to secure a fantastic, flexible casual role. The hours do depend on the needs of the Preschool team, but are usually quite consistent each week. Working hours are generally available 4 days per week on Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri between 7.30am to 3.30pm (during school terms only).
Day to day, you will be assisting our team in working across our overall program objectives and service philosophy. Ideally you will have sound experience with programming and running small groups. You will also need to have a good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Framework (NQF) and be able to demonstrate its practices and principles in all of your interactions and dealings in the Preschool environment.
