Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
As our new Pricing Analyst, you'll assist with producing pricing analyses using statistical -based techniques. You'll handle pricing tasks, conduct rate reviews, and monitor post-change metrics to inform future decisions.
Your insights will shape our pricing strategies, and you'll build positive relationships with stakeholders. Additionally, you'll work on reporting and data analysis to ensure accurate insights and compliance. You'll also manage risks and ensure regulatory compliance. This is a permanent full-time opportunity with hybrid working conditions and is open to applicants from Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally meet the below criteria:
• Experience using analytical tools, such as R, SAS, SQL, Tableau
• Broad knowledge of general insurance
• Experience in a similar team or nature of work
• A quantitative degree in statistical, mathematical, or actuarial fields
• Personal drive, initiative and a proactive working style
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well within a team
• Strong problem solving skills
