We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Accountant to join the finance team as a Pricing & Rebates Supervisor. The position is based at our head office in Keysborough and we offer a hybrid working arrangement.
About the role:
- Enhancing team engagement and capability to achieve departmental objectives
- Coordinating departmental workflows and driving effective people management principles; including coaching and mentoring
- Monitoring rebate systems to ensure accurate accruals in financial records
- Overseeing energy certificate administration (STCs & VEECs) and coordinating group pricing allowances / rebates
- Maintaining SOP for rebates and advanced pricing
- Providing ongoing support and training to relevant stakeholders
- Monitoring trading terms and customer deals
- Analysis of rebate accruals in comparison with payments highlighting the positioning of rebate categories.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- A tertiary qualification in accounting and/or comparable business discipline
- Intermediate to advanced competence in the MS Office suite
- Experience in a supervisory or managerial role
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise and manage workflow
- Ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives
Candidates who can demonstrate strong communication skills together with an analytical mind and problem solving skills is essential for success in this role. You must have previous experience supervising and leading a team in addition to a degree qualification in accounting. Those who can display experience within the Pricing & Rebates field will be held in high regard.
