The Role
Under the Commercial Planning umbrella, you will report to the Pricing Manager and operate in a highly dynamic environment, have a high degree of autonomy, and play an instrumental role in supporting the pricing team with basic to intermediate level analysis tasks so that the team can focus on a major annual pricing project.
In the role of Pricing Analyst, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Support pricing team members with the pricing request approvals raised by sales
- Review or scan customers’ Service Level Agreement for pricing information
- Run analyses on revenue/pricing data
- Update pricing tools and systems
- Update pricing templates for internal submission
- Download customer rate cards in bulk
- Perform data validation when requested
- Perform pricing reports on regular basis
- Running data queries in BI tool, internal systems to update business cases
- Handle any other admin requests
- At least 2 years’ experience in a corporate environment
- Prior pricing experience is an advantage
- Great attention to details
- A fast learner with good problem solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with speed, time management and prioritisation skills
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power Query is essential to ensure your success in this role
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce/Business will be highly regarded
