You will be working for an Aboriginal Community Health Service that provides culturally appropriate primary health care services to Aboriginal people and communities.
The key objectives of the role include:
Assess and improve health in the Aboriginal community
Ensure the delivery of nursing health care to the community;
Ensure that educational and health promotional components of the service are effective;
The Location:
This charming, captivating rural town is in the beautiful New England High Country of NSW. You will be living in "Gemstone Country" in northern NSW, known for it's sapphires and other semiprecious stones. This farming region is only 2.5 hrs from Coffs Harbour and 4 hours to the Gold Coast. There are plenty of things to do there and the surrounding region with lots of history. The region boasts spectacular national parks, walking tracks and diverse cultural heritage.
To be eligible you must:
Minimum of 6 months recent RN Nursing experience in Primary Health
Have AHPRA registration with no restrictions
Have all your nursing competencies up to date
