About the role
As Principal Building Surveyor, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for monitoring compliance with building standards and providing guidance to the industry on their application.
Drawing on your experience of applying the building standards, liaising with stakeholders, and developing ongoing networks and relationships, you will be primarily be responsible for the coordination of auditing the work of registered Building Surveyors. Additionally, you will be reviewing relevant legislation and policies, developing new codes and guidance documents, and providing training and education to staff, industry and other stakeholders on building standards and relevant legislation.
Your analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to plan and act, ability to interpret and apply legislation and an excellent understanding of the building approvals processes will be key to your success in this role.
