CAE Australia Flight Training, a leading aviation training provider located at Moorabbin Airport in Melbourne, is currently seeking enthusiastic individual to join our team as Aviation Scheduler.
About the Role
As our Scheduling and Planning Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in optimising flight operations for maximum productivity and student progression whilst ensuring compliance and safety. You will ensure that training aircraft, simulators and other resources are scheduled to maximise resources utilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximise Aircraft and Simulator utilisation and production hours against company targets
- Monitor flight bookings to ensure students meet course completion targets
- Liaise with key stakeholders to address disruptions or unplanned events efficiently and in compliance with relevant regulatory and safety requirements
- Assist in developing operational strategies, systems and plans to meet company objectives and regulatory requirements
- Ensure that flight operation systems are maintained accurately and in a timely manner in full compliance with relevant regulatory and safety requirements
- Deliver high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
- Complete administration tasks relevant to the operations department.
Skills and Experience
We are seeking candidates who are well organised and efficient individual ideally with experience in the aviation industry, preferably within a Flight Training organisation or within a Flight Operations and/or Ground Operations role. The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Well-developed conceptual, planning, and organisational skills
- High-level analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven team player
- High attention to details and accurate record-keeping
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively, both independently and as a part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
