Key accountabilities of the role are:
- Manage and conduct complex collections actions including litigation of collections and insolvency matters.
- Enable good administrative decision-making practice and compliance with record keeping and quality assurance standards.
- Contribute to risk, strategic and operational planning process and ensure planned outputs and outcomes are achieved.
- Provide mentoring support, case supervision and technical escalation support.
- Proactively manage client relationships using effective relationship management skills guided by the Client Charter.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Reading, interpreting and applying legislation in a revenue law and penalty debt environment.
- Developing a contemporary understanding of commercial, administrative and insolvency law.
- Managing litigation and pre-litigation in collections matters including negotiating outcomes in mediations.
- Managing relationships with external advisors and internal stakeholders.
- Taking ownership of your own development and growth and applying your own knowledge and skills to solve problems collaboratively.
