About the Role
As a Principal Delivery - you will be working as part of the Autonomous Haulage Team reporting to the Delivery Manager, the successful candidate will be work to support the Delivery Team, along with contracting partners and provide oversight & support to successfully deliver project packages, operational readiness and integration activities.
This role is site-based FIFO from Perth on a 5D2X 4DX3 roster or a variation of. The opportunity to work this roster flexibly is also available.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Execution of the planning and engagement process for each new phase of the project rollout on site
- Management of the project interfaces with various support teams internal and external to the project, the operation and contracting vendors
- Oversight and coordination of the site based integrated testing – including management of testing resources, test planning and test evidence collection
- Provide inputs into plans, budgets, and targets for the projects and ensure delivery against them.
- Identify and addresses potential risks and opportunities for value creation
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives to improve project efficiency, productivity and mitigate risks.
- Compliance, reporting and documentation – project status, milestones, and key performance indicators. Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation.
About You
You will be an individual who is self-motivated, fosters strong working relationships and will have the opportunity to utilize your advanced engagement and collaboration skills in managing stakeholder relationships. You will have excellent analytical and interpersonal skills and a high standard of oral and written communication skills.
Your experience includes:
- Qualification in business administration, engineering, project management or similar discipline.
- Previous experience in similar roles such as improvement specialist, project lead, program lead, delivery lead, business improvement consultant, highly desirable
- Demonstrated people engagement skills and the ability foster a collaborative environment,
- Experience in applying your strengths in analysis and problem solving in order to develop business solutions and provide opportunities for improvement.
- Demonstrate ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple deliverables across stakeholders.
- Knowledge of mining processes or previous exposure to a mining environment highly desirable.
