Role Purpose:
A Delivery Lead Level 2 is required to lead multiple customer projects independently and successfully, with minimal team support, ensuring they meet agreed milestones, schedule, and budget. You will work with a cross-functional team of engineers, technicians, internal developers, and stakeholders, without having direct authority over them. You will also be responsible to define the project objectives, schedule, and scope, based on the initial sales contract and the customer requirements, while overseeing quality control throughout its lifecycle.
As a key member of the Customer Solution Delivery Team, you will be expected to show mentorship and support to less experienced colleagues, by assisting with their projects as required and directed.
Key Challenges:
- Effectively operate a team to deliver projects of a high standard.
- Manage a project through all stages of project management lifecycle.
- Manage expectations and communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Deal with conflicting priorities & tight timelines.
- Manage delivery under pressure and in conjunction with stakeholders from other departments.
Qualifications:
- A University degree, with a major in Engineering, Technology, Business, or a relevant field.
- Formal IPMA (International Project Management Association) certification will be highly regarded.
Knowledge:
- Significant Comparable project management experience on projects with budgets >$1million AUD.
- Proven ability to run a project on or under budget and deliver desired outcomes.
- Strong understanding of project delivery and management of a multi-skilled team.
Skills:
- Must present a positive, professional and team player attitude.
- Highly motivated with strong collaboration and teamwork ethos.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Must be flexible and able to adapt to change quickly.
