Please note, this role is flexible but based in Sydney
Endeavour Group is looking for a Lead DevOps/Application Engineer with a passion for technology and Kubernetes experience, you'll assist in redefining and delivering a secure platform.
Advocate and adopt DevOps CI/CD best practices to support over 40 development teams on the Microsoft Azure DevOps platform.
You'll also automate processes, advocate for environment management, and provide solutions to improve efficiency.
A solid understanding of Microsoft Cloud Adoption Strategies in an enterprise environment is crucial as you will be building automation capabilities across the development and cloud infrastructure landscape.

Qualifications
Now let’s talk about you:
Ensure backlog grooming, sprint planning and agile leading using tools such as JiraUtilize tools like JIRA to facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and efficient agile leading.
Work closely with the development and product team to bring their application through SDLC from cloud-deployed development environment through to internal and protected production Kubernetes runtime environment using Helm, Rancher, Terraform and MS CAF Rover
Build and support cloud development and production environments
Maintain and support the underlying Kubernetes platform; troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may occur with the Kubernetes runtime environment and application running on it
Work closely with Cloud Infrastructure, Network and Security teams to ensure that all platforms are running in an optimal and secure fashion
Perform and automate release and deployment management
Develop new CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Helm and Terraform.
Help platform team design, develop and support platform technology stacks including Redis, CosmosDB, Nginx, AKS and Azure Application Gateway.
Support the development tool sets that the team look after Azure DevOps, Helm, Jira/Confluence
Support platform monitoring and security products including Prometheus, Grafana, Snyk and Dynatrace.
Contribute and lead IT projects, also leading collaboratively with other IT teams to implement new technologies and processes
Monitor and analyse trends in system performance, cost, capacity and reliability
Implement new technologies to improve processes
Build and maintain high availability production systems
Create and maintain operational documentation including configuration support manuals as the environment evolves
Advocate the AKS platform to internal stakeholders to drive adoption from legacy computing platforms
Take the lead on project streams and own cloud solutions, act as technical point of contact for team members
Instil a culture of information sharing amongst the team
Mentor and nurture members of the team and assist in setting them up for success
Work on innovative solutions in the API management space across all our brands
