Principal Full stack Software Engineer
4 x Temporary opportunity up to 5 months with potential extension.
Clerk Grade: 11/12 The package includes a base salary range of $ 139,787 to $161,663 plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
Base location of this role is Sydney , We offer flexible work arrangements across NSW.
We are looking for a Principal Full Stack Engineer to work with solution architects and designers to assist with the overall design, implementation and support of technical solutions. You will be actively participating in the design and implementation of new product features ensuring that customers’ needs are met to the highest standards. You will work with a cross functional product delivery team.
Primary purpose:
Contributes to the planning, development and delivery of high-quality, reliable, reusable and maintainable digital systems to support the delivery of strategic objectives for the organisation and/or partner agencies.
Your day-to-day
Co-designing / implementing medium to large scale solutions.
Frontend technologies such as React, NextJS, SCSS, MUI (or similar) + Yarn.
Backend technologies such as: Postgres, MySQL, SQL, Prisma and Node.
AWS cloud offering including: Lambda, ECS, RDS, DynamoDB, Cloudfront, S3, APIGateway, Cognito
CI/CD and testing automation.
Understand and applying software development best practices.
Working with Agile methodology.
Working with cross functional product delivery teams.
Key accountabilities
• Support end-to-end product development through build, release, maintenance and enhancement, delivering high quality products and services which are thoroughly tested and optimised.
• Provide support and assistance to the team throughout the design and testing of products and/or systems.
• Collaborate with team member and key stakeholders to deliver valuable working software / digital solutions for customers.
• Guide, support, coach and mentor team members.
