The intent of this position is to undertake a project to investigate regulatory and clinical practice matters raised by various stakeholders in relation to medicinal cannabis prescribing and dispensing in Queensland.
The intent of this position is to undertake a project to investigate regulatory and clinical practice matters raised by various stakeholders in relation to medicinal cannabis prescribing and dispensing in Queensland.
You will work with one of the medicines teams in the Department that has responsibility for managing some of the regulation and compliance issues in regards to the use of scheduled medicines (in particular monitored medicines and medicinal cannabis) in Queensland.
To be successful in this role you will have the following experience:
- Manage projects, develop surveys, analyse data and information and prepare comprehensive written reports and presentations, and prepare briefings and communiques on project outcomes to inform senior Departmental officers and external stakeholders
- Understand and analyse legislative and regulatory requirements for a range of medicine-related matters, or have related and relevant legislative and regulatory experience
- Communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders at all levels, internal and external to Queensland Health, both orally and in writing
