About the Integrated Program Management Office (IPMO)
The IPMO is a new unit being established to provide independent advice and assurance on the delivery of major health projects within the WA health system. The IPMO works in collaboration with the Major Health Projects and Infrastructure Directorate, Health Service Providers, central agencies and Government.
We support the Department of Health's oversight of a portfolio of major health projects valued over $6.4 billion and spanning more than 120 projects across WA. Some of our current major projects within the portfolio include the:
- New Women's and Babies Hospital;
- Peel Health Campus Transformation; and
- Geraldton Health Campus and Bunbury Hospital Redevelopment.
Position profile: The Principal Program Officer coordinates the delivery of program and risk reporting in line with the Integrated Program Management Framework, tracking progress against plans and agreed budget parameters; tracks risks and issues, dependencies and change controls. The Principal Program Officer distils complex information into clear, concise reports, and provides advice to support decisions by management and program governance.
