We are seeking an experienced ASO7 Principal Project Officer to join one of our government clients for an immediate start.
The Role
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead, develop, manage, and implement projects to achieve quality outcomes
- Providing high-level strategic leadership, advice to support the development, management and implementation of policies and projects
- Coordinate high quality briefings and reports
- Provide high level of service, consultation and engagement with a wide range of internal and external key stakeholders, including Aboriginal stakeholders, to meet their business needs
- Providing concise, accurate and evidence-informed briefings and submissions
- General policy tasks including research, analysing complex issues and recommending practical solution
Skills and Experience Required
We are seeking applications from candidates who bring:
- Proven experience in developing, leading, and implementing successful programs or policy and projects
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to work both as part of a team and independently
- Experience in dealing with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations and stakeholders
- Proven ability to identify and deliver strategic and operational outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders within and outside the public sector
- Initiative and judgement to deliver complex tasks
