ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a key role in our central risk management function, working in a team that will shape the future direction of enterprise risk management at Origin. In this role you will support the ongoing improvement and embedment of Origin's Risk Framework, ensuring it remains fit for purpose and future facing to support the organisation' strategic and operational objectives.
Working with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, you will be responsible for supporting the design and delivery of risk management improvement initiatives including large change management activities.

Enhance the Risk Framework - Contribute to the continuous improvement of Origin's Risk Framework; including identification of opportunities and developing Origin's company-wide risk improvement plan.
Lead risk improvement - Lead the implementation of key initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders to develop and enhance risk management practices.
Excel in project and change management - Manage delivery of simultaneous initiatives, including establishing plans, routines, tracking progress against deliverables, and providing progress updates to management.
Shape the Risk Accountability Model - Support the development and ongoing implementation of a risk accountability model for Origin, that meets the business needs and enables the deployment of the Risk Framework.
Build risk capability - Develop, deliver and maintain a risk capability model for key roles in the Risk Framework, including risk management training programs to build expertise in relevant risk capabilities across Origin and enhance the organisation's risk culture.
Provide company-wide risk leadership & advice - Provide leadership, risk SME advice and support across the business to ensure appropriate identification, assessment, and ongoing management of risk categories and company-wide risk oversight, including aggregation principles and connectivity.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role you will be a skilled risk management professional with demonstrated experience in deploying risk frameworks in large / complex organisations. You will have proven ability to work with a range of stakeholders to implement change and are effective at building strong relationships. You will show a collaborative approach and partner effectively with all areas of the business. You will have a continuous improvement mindset and a practical approach to problem solving. Strong communication skills and ability to relay complex information in a clear and simple manner are essential.
More about you:
At least 7 years' risk management experience in similar large organisations, preferably within the Energy, Mining, Oil and Gas, Telecommunications or Retail Sectors.
Tertiary qualifications in Risk Management, Law, Accounting, HSE or Engineering (or similar);
Demonstrated experience in the application of risk management principles in accordance with ISO 31000 - Risk Management.
Demonstrated experience in leading the design of enterprise-wide risk management frameworks.
Demonstrated experience in implementing risk appetite and tolerance and/or designing risk accountability or risk culture models.
Demonstrated project management skills to manage and deliver on concurrent improvement initiatives.
