The Branch
Toowoomba Regional Council’s Waste Services Branch manages, operates, and controls the region’s Waste Management Facilities and recycling. The branch coordinates waste collection services while providing communication and education of waste services to the community.
The team is composed of indoor and outdoor staff that collaboratively offers a wealth of knowledge and experience in different aspects of waste management. Driven by the TRC Waste Management Strategy 2021, we believe that setting out the waste and resource recovery needs of the region is an essential service that plays a key role in minimising the environmental impact of waste while enhancing public health.
A positive outlook towards the execution of cutting-edge principles in waste diversion strategies will be a great addition to the team. About the position

We are looking for someone who is passionate about designing and Planning the waste and resource recovery solutions of tomorrow. Together, within a flexible and supportive work environment, we will solve the waste and resource recovery challenges of today.
- This is a permanent full-time position based at the Greater Toowoomba Waste Management Centre.
- The base salary for this position is $100,107.84 - $106,175.89 gross per year, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.
