As the Principal Workforce Analyst, you will lead the workforce analytics function, which is responsible for supporting workforce systems, reporting and provides advice that supports contemporary workforce management practices.
The role is based in Queensland Revenue Office's (QRO) Workforce Management team, which is responsible for developing and delivering workforce planning services through a direct partnership model, including recruitment co-ordination and QRO establishment management.
Based in our convenient and modern Brisbane CBD office, you will be part of a leadership team that contributes to the delivery of recruitment, establishment and reporting services for QRO.
The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Leading the design and delivery of workforce reporting and data initiatives and priorities.
- Researching and analysing workforce data and information to resolve complex issues across a broad range of workforce areas.
- Maintaining and developing the Workforce Management reporting and business platforms using Microsoft Suite - Power BI and SharePoint.
- Preparing and contributing to project plans, report submissions and briefing notes for senior management.
- Providing mentoring, coaching, guidance and advice to the team and stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- An ability to analyse and synthesise workforce data from multiple sources to provide advice and insights.
- High-level reporting skills (e.g. Excel or equivalent) and attention to detail.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including written communication for complex matters.
- Experience in leading team members and growing workforce data literacy in others.
