Salary: $41 - $46 per hour plus 11% SuperCasual Opportunity!Supportive team environment.About the roleThis is a casual opportunity working up to 35 hours per week as per the roster. This position is located at the Nowra Administration Building.DutiesReporting directly to the Print Room Coordinator, the focus of this position is to:To operate digital printing equipment and associated equipment to produce work of a high quality, professional standard. The work involves reproduction onto a wide range of papers and card stock.Undertake training in the correct and safe operation of all printing associated equipment.Be familiar with Council operations to be able to set priorities and schedule the workload in the Printing Team.Undertake maintenance activities of equipment in accordance with the manufacturers specifications to ensure all equipment is regularly maintained.Identify and troubleshoot issues to resolution.Initiate the purchase and distribution of printing items as required.Accept deliveries from carriers from the loading dock.Skills & ExperienceTo be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:Post trade qualification relative to Printing, or relevant experience in a large multipurpose, and diverse organisation.Experience in the use of digital printing and associated equipment.Demonstrated competency with industry and Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel, PDF, and the operation of equipment incidental to printing processes.Demonstrated time management and prioritisation skills with the ability to balance competing workloads and deliver within deadlines.Ability to work unsupervised and meet competing deadlines.Ability to undertake stock take functions.Current Class C Driver’s LicenceProof of Australian residency or citizenship, or authority to work in Australia (visa)Council requires applicants for this position to undergo a National Criminal History Check during the recruitment process.
