Join their accomplished team as a Private Clients Accountant and play a pivotal role in managing the financial affairs of high-net-worth individuals and families.You will take on a key role in providing exceptional financial and advisory services to a discerning clientele.
Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Financial Advisory: Offer comprehensive financial advisory services to high-net-worth individuals and families, including tax planning, wealth preservation, and estate planning.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, gaining an in-depth understanding of their financial goals and tailoring strategies accordingly.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of tax returns, ensuring adherence to Australian tax laws and regulations.
- Wealth Management: Assist clients in managing their wealth portfolios, providing insights for investment strategies, risk management, and asset allocation.
- Estate and Succession Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop effective estate and succession plans, ensuring the seamless transfer of wealth across generations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, investment reports, and other financial documents for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Business Development: Contribute to the growth of the firm by identifying opportunities for expanding services to existing clients and attracting new clients.
- Professional Networking: Build a strong professional network within the industry to stay updated with trends and opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CA qualification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience as a Private Clients Accountant, ideally within a professional services or accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws, regulations, and financial planning strategies.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, enabling accurate financial analysis and strategic planning.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and collaborate within a team.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
